WPC 2018 Sponsored Talk

Biomodels attends and presents at the 7th Annual World Preclinical Congress (WPC), June 18-21, at The Westin Copley Place, Boston, MA.

Dr. Benjamin G. Cuiffo will deliver a 20 minute talk titled "Triple-Humanized Mouse Models."

Abstract: Human-in-mouse preclinical models are facsimiles, with key contextual mediators of tumor progression and response absent or poorly recapitulated, diminishing their translational predictive potential.  We’ll discuss recent observations in Biomodels’ ongoing development of a “triple-humanized” orthotopic pancreatic cancer mouse model (tumor/T cells/mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs)) designed to enable translational immuno-oncology/tumor microenvironment-targeted therapeutics. We’ll also touch upon additional triple-humanized models currently in development by Biomodels in the microbiome/IO space.

When: Tuesday, June 19th at 2:20pm

Track: Preclinical Stragegies, Models & Tools in Oncology
